About

Cicatrix is the aftermath of our horrors-who you chose to be and what you did to redefine yourself. Amidst shattered pieces, a new form can emerge. Adapt, be unkillable, unstoppable, and wear the thorned crown of your past as you arise into your future. Take back control from the root of your suffering.

A “cicatrix” is the scar of a healed wound. Beneath its surface definition, it refers to these traumatic moments that have shaped you and altered the way you are. It is about regaining hope in the darkest of trenches and moving forward despite how much you’ve been wounded. In this year’s Horizons, the official art and design folio of the students of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, we invite you to find comfort in fright. Heal through vanquishing what once tried to erase you.
